Fool Me

>White Family

No one could say that Logan White wasn't a devoted father or husband. Even though it was hard being so young and having three kids, he gave it his all.

A Fresh Face

> Haywood Family

The Haywood's lived a rather quiet life. Will was a senator, Robin was a teacher, and together they quietly raised their family in the suburbs. Things were about to get a little louder, however, as Will was running for mayor, and the elections were drawing close.

In the last few hot days of the year, their daughter Morgan opened a lemonade stand,

A Weekend to Remember: An inter-hood visit!

>White Family

The White family was so happy to receive their life-long friends, the DeBarbarak's, from Simberry Fields for an extended weekend visit.

Kelsey and BriAnna spent nearly the whole visit catching up, having not seen eachother since Logan's wedding. They had been friends since long before the birth of all their children, and they talked like it had only been days since their youthful partying days.

Follow your heart

> Lovitz Family

Brynn Lovitz was still trying to get on her feet after college. Her degree in drama wasn't doing her any good in the real job market, and now that her college sweetheart found a job a thousand miles away, she was alone. She spent a lot of time watching television and daydreaming about being a famous singer.

An Empty Nest

>The White Family

The White Farm was always very noisy, with the squeals and laughter of the triplet grandchildren. Seven sims squeezed into the one home had always been a snug fit, and Kelsey and Andy had always fantasized about what they would do when they had their farmhouse to themselves.

They didn't often have time to fantasize, though, because taking care of three babies was hard work. There were always messes.

Between a Choice and a Mistake

>Causland Family
Ben is 26,
(Ingrid is 23, Avery is 22)

The community cleanup project was going off extremely well in the eyes of Ben Causland. He was, afterall, spearheading the efforts, and the shore was merely weeks away from being clean and safe. So, he thought, why not celebrate?

Ben threw a party in honor of the entire cleanup committee to show his thanks. Everyone showed up dressed to the nines,

It Was Bound To happen

>Hernandez Family
Ignacio is 36, Nina is 15, Martin is 6

Nina hadn't spoken to her boyfriend since the school year had ended a month ago. She would call him when the telephone was free, but he always said those were the times he was busy. "You need to get a cellphone," he told her. "Then we would be able to talk."

News: Heat Wave in Port Manteaux!

Temperatures of 100 degrees and upwards have been recorded in Port Manteaux. Reports indicate that this could be part of a larger trend lasting a week or more. Residents are warned to stay indoors as much as possible and avoid any unnecessary physical labor. Two sims have already fallen unconscious  in their lawns from heat exhaustion.

Today, outside the administration building, mayor Erica Lansing met with reporters to issue a warning to residents. She was clammy and sweating, and warned everyone that this wasn't a situation to be taken lightly. She also had an announcement to make, something she couldn't hide anymore.

"My husband and I would like to announce and, in this case, confirm the rumors that we are expecting our second child. Christopher and I are thrilled and Maya can't wait to be a big sister. This will not affect my ability to do my job, but city council president Micah Campbell promises to stand in for me if any health issues should arise. And thank you to everyone who has wished us the best."

The mayor then jokingly said, "now, let's get this pregnant woman out of the heat!" before leaving the podium.

At home, she spent a little time outside with her daughter before they both started to overheat and moved inside.

Looks like it is going to be a good week for the lemonade stand industry.

Barbeque in the Park!

>Barbeque in the Park is a regular event in Port Manteaux. There are cook-offs, free food to be had, games to be played, and sims enjoy the company of one another. Mayor Erica Lansing took advantage of this popular day to bring attention to an issue very important to her.

>A beginning!

>Welcome to the blog of the city of Port Manteaux!

But first: an introduction, perhaps? My name is Danie. I'm a student and bookkeeper by day and an obsessive sims enthusiast by night. I've been a member of the For Sims, By Sims community for about six years, though I won't say who my sims or 'hood was back in those days, in order to protect the innocent. Or, in some cases, not-so-innocent. ;)  My old neighborhood was Lemon Creek, and now I'm back with Port Manteaux.

I've made some very, very close friends through this community. Playing the game without the FSBS slant just isn't an option for me anymore, I've realized, and thus this blog is born. Stories, FSBS news updates, and gameplay chatter all may be expected from this blog. :) Now, about the town...

We are a bustling, diverse city located on the edge of the waterfront. Port Manteaux is a For Sims, By Sims community. Our fair city has a successful commercial district, a flourishing suburb where families are being raised, a modern, trendy waterfront, and a low-rent district.

There is much more to come for Port Manteaux, so stay tuned!
