Karinna and I waited a very long time to have a second child, and taking care of my own newborn, Bennett, while at the same time taking care of Dalton, my grandson. I had been worried that life after the wedding would be boring. Everyone said the romance would slow down, and mundane life would replace it. I've been pleased to see that, so far, that hasn't happened with Ignazio. If anything, he uses it as an excuse to be even more romantic. His favorite name for me is "Mrs. Hernandez".

First Annual Port Fest!

The whole town was bristling with excitement in the days leading up to Port Fest. The Port Manteau Arts Association came up with the idea of holding a music festival during the summer. Not just a small concert featuring a few bands, but a day-long event showcasing the best talent in SimNation.

Starting out the Festival were newcomers London Fire, with their upbeat, punk rock sound, they got the crowd in the mood to party.

The morning began as most mornings did for Logan and Vera White. One of the triplets would wake before the others and start to cry and make a fuss.

Brynn Lovitz had just fallen into bed, exhausted. She was working round-the-clock on recording her debut album and opening for local acts. She was featured on the hit single of the two man rock group The Thrash's new album. She loved it, but she didn't realize going for her dream would leave her so worn out. Just before she drifted off, a clatter in the hallway of her apartment made her sit straight up.

It seemed like an eternity before Gideon got a response to his date request from Avery. He was glad she called, but he was also aggravated that she led him on for so long. It seemed so arrogant to him. But there was something about her he couldn't quite put his finger on, and he liked that, so he buried his resentment. He got a haircut, he got new clothes, and he was ready.

It was a big, big day for Gideon Fischer. Gideon's Books, the bookstore he owned, had been doing phenomenally well. Today was the day he was going to have a published author come in and do a reading and a signing, and he hoped it would attract more customers. It didn't hurt that he was a huge fan of the novel. He meticulously prepared for the day ahead.

This dinner was everything to Ignazio. He'd been dating Olivia for a few months, now, and he was going to talk about moving her in tonight at dinner.

The illness and sudden death of the Sr. Mr. Costillo had come as a shock. A perpetual cough (brought on by years of smoking) he'd had for years turned out to be late-stage lung cancer. He joked that it was revenge from beyond the grave, by all the poor souls who he left sleepin' with the fishes. He left his family struggling to sort out his affairs.
